Deals

Hi All

So getting the discussion started with a bit of a general question - what are you play groups like at deals?

Pretty much in our small group, we've same core dudes for like 10 years or so, deals are pretty much on an action by action basis; you rescue me, I support your next vote that kind of carry on.  That's pretty much the way it's always been.  Mostly also with everyone being experienced we kind of expect sensible (well in Greg's case sensible is more like predictable weirdness!) cross table behaviour.  We also don't really beg help to live, if it's clear me being off the table is good for my cross tables allies then effort won't be wasted trying to talk someone into helping me.

I'm playing some JOL league games at the moment and there is some crazy deal cross table oust carry on, made worse by the dealing taking place without all parties at the table (so to speak).  It's like worse than a tournament, I'd forgotten how bad some of the Europeans are when it comes to table talking.  It's total VP dealing, you oust him and then I'll oust this dude.  Is this sort of carry on normal in anyone's local groups?  Or we just see some, not heaps, of it at tourneys?

Tournaments and Other Pages

Hi all, As this blog is in its infancy, it is only starting to get up on its feet and starting to toddle. More and more information will become visible on this site, some of which will be mirrored on the Facebook Group. If you're not a member of the Facebook Group, don't worry, we'll do our best to keep them running in sync.

As such, there are now a number of pages that are slowly being added to this blog, including upcoming tournaments. So, if you're not sure about what tournaments you can attend, they'll all be posted up on that page.

You'll also be able to see who the Princes (or Archbishops/Barons) are of your domain and our National Coordinator.

Beginner resources will be made available when they are developed also.

So, keep playing and remember "Prey to the Left".

Welcome to the Crocodile Temple

Hello all and welcome to the Crocodile Temple.

This will be a blog linked closely to the Australian V:TES Facebook Group

It will be used as a secondary point of reference for those who may not use Social Networking, as well as a place to post articles on the game we all love, including Deck Building articles, tactics and strategy, and discussion about upcoming events.

It can also be used to help find a group near you.

I am Julian, the Prince of Newcastle.  Hopefully, this blog will have contributors from the other Domains as well as our National Coordinator Stephen.

Here are the Princes for New Zealand and Australia
